Counter IED Market: EOD Mobile Units
March 7, 2008Engineers of EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Mobile Unit operate the robot MK II Talon to dispose an improvised explosive device (IED). By using the robot, engineers can effectively dispose of the IED during a route clearance exercise while keeping a safe distance in the event of a detonation.
